Drop Cloth Flags

junecrafts.011[1]

I don’t like buying flags. I don’t dislike flags at all — I just think most of the ones you can buy are cheap-looking!

Sue had the brilliant idea of printing your own flags on drop cloths. I love the vintage, tactile look of these flags — and you can make them, too! She shows you just what to do.

I love this idea of taking something simple — even dollar store bandanas — and making something that can be the centerpiece of your celebration’s decor. Kendra shows you how … and even tells you about her mishaps along the way! What a great idea.

Some little girls love their skirts — but we parents know that shorts under skirts are the way to go, especially for active summers. Mandy shows you how to make cute red, white and blue little girls’ skorts (skirts + shorts) … and pairs them with inexpensive, refashioned tanks!

Sometimes the best projects are those when the kids can get invovled! Then they want to wear them too! and think of how fun these would be to keep or make a tshirt quilt with and let them see how small their hand was when they were little.
