Courtney created this great, olympic-inspired girls’ top for a birthday party — along with matching pom. You could refashion a girls’ tank in the same way, even with a rainbow pattern or perhaps several like shades. Check it out, complete with pom tutorial.

Rainbow Challenge — Ruffle Shirt Refashion Tutorial!

Hi Refashion File friends! It’s Jen here from Tatertots & Jello and I am so excited about the Rainbow Challenge this month.

I can’t wait to see YOUR Rainbow projects. And the winner of the challenge is going to get a $70 package from I Love To Create — so cool!!!

Today I want to share an easy little refashion project I created in honor of the Rainbow Challenge — Ruffle Rainbow Shirts!!

I have three girls, and consequently we have a lot of hand-me-down shirts that get donated after being worn by all three sisters. Most of the shirts are not really something that can be worn again, since they are stained or worn out. But I hated to see them sent to the landfills. So I thought it might be fun to take the t-shirts and make something with them.

June Challenge: Colorful Rainbow!

We are so pleased to announce our very FIRST ever refashion challenge! If you haven’t heard, we’ll be doing challenges once a month here at Refashion Files. Do you want to learn what a challenge is and how to participate? Click here.
